discus id

[bonsai dave]

Hi there. I need help identifying this discus . I picked up from April's a while back. It's supposed to be a golden butterfly. I do have black background. But it's alot different than ones .I have seen

Interesting fish Dave, hard to pinpoint the genetics in that one. It has alot of blue in it, so it makes it difficult. Might just be the light. :o

hi dave.....it's a golden butterfly and revert back to yellow in light color substrates.

hes in a planted tank with gravel..i hAD dark paper on mine..and they were peppered. took it off..and htey lightened up.

There is no gravel.It's bare bottom. But the bottom is black just like the background.

it's a nice butterfly. Funny that it shows more golden traits than pigeon.
