Hi,
I was just doing my (almost) daily run to my pet store, and I saw a gorgeous pigeon blood, that I absolutely had to buy :)

She's about 4"with amazing color. The reason I say "She" is because I would have sworn I saw a female egg spout on her at the store. I didn't see her with any eggs or a mate though.

When discus pair up, do they do sort of a show off, shimmying bow sort of thing? Are they ever aggressive towards on another if they are pairing up?

Yes they do, but they also do this when first introduced to the hierarchy in your tank ;)

Ok. The discus are doing what i described and then going to opposite ends of the tank for a while and doing that over and over again. Should I get a few more to break the tension or something?

A 4 in. fish should not be showing signs of breeding behavior and I think it unlikely anyone but an expert would be able to guess her sex unless she is stunted. How many discus do you have? How many discus are involved? How big is your tank? Quarantine?
