This lady paired a couple times and produced eggs in my 125 gallon tank, but of course like others that have paired, the eggs don't make it, mostly on account of the Pleco. I'm happy they lay eggs, but don't have the time to set up separate breeding tanks.

But she now has spent the last month, really, hanging in the corner protecting her spot, as if she had eggs. This is what it usually looks like when I come in the room.

When I come in, she'll leave the corner to investigate if I'm feeding, and when I do feed, she's just as aggressive as the rest in eating. Her color is good, no other issues, just hanging in the corner protecting her eggs that aren't there any more.

Has anyone had this experience before? Will she become more sociable again? I'd rather see her displaying in the front of the tank once in a while . . .:o

Thanks.
