What types of plants did you add, what is your substrate and lighting? Do you use co2?

if planted use a tablet fert of some sort like the seachem ones
if attached to rocks and wood and such use a liquid fert, just be careful i've heard some of these liquid ferts melt plants

I believe they asian marshweed and sunset hygro uses the water column and substrate. You should get some roots nice growing at the bottom of the stems. When I had hygro it grow fast and needed trimming often. Nice plant. From what I understand the marshweed needs little light and is a fast growing weed. So cut your stems and replant. You'll have a tank full in no time.
I think roots tabs would be the best option. You don't have to worry about loosing ferts w/ water changes of having an excess for an algea bloom to take over.:D
