tank start up questions

anybody want to save me searching past posts? Will be setting up a 55 grower tank. Want 2 heaters, 2 sponge filters, and 1 air pump. Will i want 150 watt heaters? Hydro 4 sponges? and what air pump will do the job? thanks, todd

I personally use a pair of 100 watt heaters in my 55 and my 72 and find them to be quite adequate. The sponges sound good, but I'll leave the air pump advice to someone else. I use old whispers that are anything but quiet most of the time it seems.
