wierd water color

i currently have a planted tank...I just added a bunch of plants, and the water is very dark and red. i am adding discus essentials to the tank, and plants essentials? can anyone specify my problem?

Perhaps something you bought was color treated/dyed and it is leeching into the water. Did you buy red plants?
