I was wondering what is the best for growing out discus properly? If we put 2 inch juvis in a 60 inch long tank with about 15 inches height and 20 inches width, is too large for such small ones to grow properly or is it okay? Say I keep about 18 of them in it... or should it be a smaller tank at first and then should be transferred to it??

You COULD use this tank size, but my suggestion would be to partition off some of it for the little guys and expand the room for them as they grow out. This way they will stick together which makes them feel safe, you can feed and make sure they all see the food and get it, and you have the luxury of a large water column at the same time. Light diffuser panels at home depot or where ever are a cheap way to do it. Snap them into the right shape with pliers and put foam edging [ pipe wrap foam] around them so you don't scratch the glass.
Just a suggestion for you!
