I have been keeping tank raised discus for some time now. I have a 55gal tank I already have a pair of discus now out of 7. My temperature is 86 and my ph is 6.2 and my other levels are all at 0. I would like to setup another tank for some wild caught discus what size of tank would another 55gal tank be good if so would six be good ? Also what should be the temperature and ph? Any info and help would be great. Also what is a good place to buy I am in Ca?:fish:

Personally I prefer larger tanks for wild caught. 6 would be a tad coy in a 55 gal in my view, though it can be done. A 75 or better still a 90 would be better. Wilds will adjust to you rwater, many keep them that way. I prefer to get closer to their water so a soft wacid water is given. A sand substrate and a few bits of driftwood and you are hot to trot :)

I have 5 wilds in a 300 litre tank (75 US gal) here http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?t=77488
