I recently ordered a really nice 24 inch cube tank that I will be setting up within the next few months. The volume is 60 gallons, and I would really like the tank to be dedicated to a pair/group of discus. However, I know that discus generally do best in longer tanks. What would you guys suggest with a tank of my dimensions? I have wanted to keep discus for a long time, and I figured this would be a great time to start. Upgrading in the future to a larger tank is not an option, so I would like suggestions as to what would work in my tank long term. I am planning on buying adult discus since it will be a planted setup which I know is not the best for growing out young discus. I appreciate any advice you guys have!
