I would assume you prepare it just as beefheart, removing all the veins.

Thanks Eddie
How do you prepare the hearts EG: dice, slice, chop or other.
Will also try to feed the heart to my fry, not sure if still to call them fry as they are about 5 weeks old now. I am doing a 20% water change every 12 hrs now and the ammonia level in the tank is stable at about .25 - 0 ppm:) Also having problem posting Pics, I can only compress them to 92.8 kb and simply discus will only let you post pics smaller than 85 kb????

For fry, I puree the hearts. For older fry, I use my standard mix which includes heart but has other ingredients and it is also pureed. I use a meat grinder to prepare my mixes.

I would aim for zero ammonia. How many fish are in the tank and how big is the tank?

It is a 50 ltr tank with 15 5 week old fry about the size of your pinkie nail:)

Yup, aim for zero ammonia. Try to change more water with each water change, at least 50% with more being better.
