Does anyone out the revove the cone to get the freeswimmers to move to parents? It's only been 4 days since I got wrigglers and all the fry are swimming around the cone now. Four or five were on and off the mother but since have moved back to the cone.

Absolutely You should remove the cone once there are free swimmer.most parents change the wriglers two a second place before free swimming , but in
the case they don't you should remove the cone first chance you get with
a smooth movement try not to disturb the parents. also some people cover their sponge filter with white mesh to avoid fry to be atracted .as the fry is
always atracted to dark colors objects.
Good Luck
Julian.

Try also to lower the water level

Wow, that worked...removed the cone and 75% went to mom. A few went to dad and some are just swimming around. That was within 2 min.

When should I offer bbs? A week or so?

Thanks again

I usually start offering them on Day 4 of free swimming.
