I got my first six Fire Reds ( the first Discus I have ever owned)from Chad, and they are doing great so far( going on week 3)
I have read tons of info mostly on here about raising ,feeding , and just in general giving them great care, many thanks to all ya`ll for the great info on here..
Right now they are in a 42 gallon corner tank but soon they will be in a 150 gallon tank. I am thinking about getting some Rummy Nose Tetras to put in with them as well...
Thanks again for the info and thanks Chad for holding the fish for me...

Congratulations Ron. It sounds like you've been doing some homework, so it probably isn't necessary to tell you to make sure you put any new fish in a QT for a month or so before putting them in with your discus, but I figure a piece of advice that good bears repeating. Many happy years of discus keeping to you.

Thanks keith, thats the only reason I am hesitant about getting the Rummies lol I do have a quarantne tank but still dont want to mess up a good thing lol..
I`ll give it more time before I add anything, and thanks for the advice
