I went to buy a 90 gallon tank and stand that I found on craigslist last week. When I got there the tank turned out to be a 65 gallon (48x13x24) but it was full of fish and came with two 24" dual CF Coralife fixtures, a Fluval 404, and a lot of other accessories. The tank was FILTHY! The guy said the tank belonged to his previous roommate and he had not touched it since last November :shocked2: The tank was a complete mess but among all the algae and dead plants we found this!:
6.5" Turquoise Discus
5" Brown Discus
(2) 4" Blood Pigeons
7" Silver Angelfish
5" Black Angelfish
7 Cardinal Tetras
2 Neon Tetras
2 Red-eyed Tetras
4 Tetras (not sure of name yet)
4" Large Bronze cory
2 African clawed frogs
(2) Gallon Zip lock bags full of java fern!

The water was filthy so the fish were not in the best shape. When we were draining the water we found a dead discus or very large angel :( and 2 cardinals. I paid $200 for everything and took it home to clean it up. I've always wanted discus but didn't think I would have them so soon :) Here are some pictures right after we setup the tank...

The brown discus looked very rough at first. He was doing a lot better until about three days ago when one of the angels (most likely the silver one) attacked him. That evening I moved the two angels to a 55G so that wont happen again. I'll try to upload some current pictures in a little while. The fish look a lot better now :)

There doesn't seem to be any blues in that group and I also don't think there is a brown either. The fish with the clamped fins almost looks like a Red Spotted Green but it looks a bit rough so hard to tell. The other discus that you mention as being blues are turquoise discus.

I'd keep an eye on the group and see how they fair. Picking up sick fish is never a good thing, no matter how cheap you get them for.

Yeah I'm probably wrong with the names. These are my first discus but I've been keeping GBRs for a while now. I'm still looking for a 90 or 125 tank so I can combine my rams, corys, and schoolers with the discus. I'm definitely glad I got these guys though. They would have all died in another month or two.
