Some pics i took of BLUE GOLD AQUARiUM in QUEENS NYC.. was in Febuary 2010 i been kinda busy and lazy to post but finally here it is ,,NOTE: i didnt expect to pass thru there so these are pics from my cell phone so i hope you enjoy ,, AND PLEASE !! dont bug me about prices or what stock they have google them and find out yourself.. :)

Think these were a HECKLE CROSS but they was like 2.5-3 inches . Mr Huang was not there at the time of these photos so the lights weren't on i must appoligize for the lighting in this set of photos also this was a shipment that came in that same day i was there ,,the floor was wet and boxes were on side with lots wet broken bags inside..

Ok and NOWWWWW lol these pics from a shipment in January 2010 that i never got to post on DAAH.. these fish no longer at BLUE GOLD all sold weeks ago,,you snooze you loose .. wayyyy more stock lighting was better MR HUANG was there busy bagging customers fishes that where there drooling .. The checkerboards are the only fish that look special to me, the rest are very average. I think the Simply sponsors, Kenny, Hans, Dan, blow these fish away. My opinion only.

i know about them 2 petshops downtown the one on delancey st & the one in between grand & canal they are over priced i wouldnt go there only because they are over priced other than that no complaint..

yeah, there are 5 shops around there that i go to, one is decent, the rest are usually overpriced. one also sells stunted discus..but thats another story, lol.

oh yeah theres 5 around there that sell discus?i knew this other small one between grand and canal somewhere i think they closed ,, was looking for it a month ago couldnt find it thats when i ran into the one i told you thats on the corner and sell their discus way too expensive thought that was them maybe they moved.. but go to blue gold trust me in queens they very reasonably priced i think because they are the source alot these nyc petshops get their discus from .. you going straight to the importer source .. let me know how it goes call ahead ask for mr huang hes super cool and buy only when he s there..

38 aquarium(overpriced)
win tropical aquarium(down the street from 38, sometimes stunted fish)
JC aquarium(one block before 38 and win)
and aqua star(around the corner from win and 38 in little italy)

Yeah cool but them manhattan petshops got high overhead costs the fish can be nice to look at but not the sticker prices..my eyes start to turn red looking at those triple digit prices..lol the guys on delencey are really cool guys and helpful also nice selection various species of freshwater..nice to spot to pass by with the girlfriend kill time..

Yeah i remember about that whole unfortunate incident..its weird cause i had bought from that same shipment and nothing was wrong with the fish i got ,,you know me if there was something wrong i would been making a big deal about it even at risk getting banned lol ..but am grateful all the fish i ever bought from BG never had problems they been a pleasure to keep..
