Hi,

I got 60x magnifications microscope from craigslist for good price. I wonder whether I can have good views of worms/eggs/critters with this 60x magnifications microscope. Does anyone have good results with equal or lesser microscope? Also, is there a good place to learned/identify worms/eggs/critters? Pictures speak thousand words.

Thanks,
-Hoang

Hi,
I usually use a low power to see and identify worms such as capillaria and the eggs of capillaria. I have seen this with magnification of 50 to 100X.
Tapeworms can be seen without the microscope but do look interesting at low power also. http://www.simplydiscus.com/library/disease_medications/internal/tapeworms.shtml
