Gelatin in BH mix

How much gelatin do you use in your BH mix ? What kind of gelatin do you use ?

I mix two types of BH.

1. Yellow fish BH : I only use BH and white fish, with banana
2. Regualr BH mix : BH, Salmons and raw shrimp.

The raw shrimp and banana seems to hold the cube together fairly good. I am wondering if I should add gelatin to make it even better ?

I actually wanna know why people want to add gelatin at all? Im really at a loss for this..

I dont use gelatin at all. Shrimp holds it together enough, at least enough as I want it to be. ;)

Agree .. I just want to try a small mix with gelatin and compare to my current mix ... I was thinking about doing that because seems like many people are using gelatin.

I make mine with bh, shrimp, spinach, vitamins and calcium and it makes a mess without gelatin. My display tank has a black background and boy, you can see the particles drifting about with a black background!
