Hello Everyone

I have another question for everyone. I currently use Prime to do water changes, but some ppl here also mention Safe. I did an internet search on Safe but could not find anything. Is there another name for it or do they mean Tetra Aquasafe?

Safe is just the dry, concentrated version of Prime. It's made by Seachem (http://www.seachem.com/Products/product_pages/Safe.html) and is rather hard to find.

ChloramX is easier to find if you're looking to reduce the costs. Otherwise, just use Prime if it's working for you.

Good point! Check with David to see if he's bringing in smaller sizes. I ordered two of the huge size just to head off the price increase that looms. That should last a while. :D

If you are using Prime, switch to SAFE. It is a powdered form of Prime and the 1 kilo container ($30), will treat 200,000 gallons of water. Guess some people like to throw money out the window but trust me, I've already saved over 100 dollars in just 2 months of using Safe. I haven't even put a dent in the container and I foresee saving another 200-300 dollars by the time I need to order another 1 kilo container. ;)
