Hello once again

Does anyone have any advice on what to do if my tank has a black background? I bought an acrylic tank and the plastic in the back is black. Anyone here ever line the inside of their tank?

Easy fix, get albino discus. They don't pepper.

Yes, just put fish in it that are light colored. You can even use clean pigeons. I know this goes against the norm, but here is a pigeon in my 150, and the tank. :D

I like the black background. Not all varieties look great, but many do.

I have black also, it, to me looks the best. We tried like 7 different colors before going black - we just countered it by using pure white silica sand.

This is true! I find the bottom to have a greater effect on the "brightness" of discus, then the back. Just in my limited experience.

We had black and it was a little severe, plus the Discus went darker. It also showed every stain and dirty mark off very well. :(

Switched to a dark blue, which works much better for us. The Discus are a little brighter and it doesn't show stains or algae.
