female laying large clutch

ok so i have a super clean pigeon female that has been laying after every water change for the past few weeks...... but there is no male near her, she allows a german strain brilliant blue near her and the eggs but he has no interest in her?.. is that normal to just lay without a partner? and should i find a male to throw in or wait for german to find her more attractive:o

on another note i have another female pigeon and male that are on the same cycle but water conditions are not right, figured id move them shortly.. 20 gal good enough or 30? bb with jager heater and sponge filter, but i do have a aquaclear bp style laying around..

I wouldn't mate a pb with a non-pb; you are likely to get heavily peppered fry. I would find a really nice pb. Some people use 20s but I prefer the 29 gallon tanks - more wriggle room. A sponge filter is fine.

sounds good, that is what i was thinking, is it normal for laying without a male?
