from my limited experience i would have to say yes, but then again i have been wrong on a lot of things when it comes to genetics, lol. both are gorgeous strains anyway

Yes they are Brown Based fish

since they are brown based, can anyone give an idea what is the outcome if cross with a golden based fish?

or another scenario, if cross with a golden/red pigeon based fish, will the peppering be not so obvious?

I'm pretty sure in both cases you'd get some browns, anything else will depend on the genotypes of the golden and pigeon. You'll have to be more specific and wait for master Rod to see this, because this is all I got;)
