New to Discus

Normally I keep African Cichlids but I want to try and do discus fish with live plants. I have a 130g tank just upgraded from my 55g. I have 2 aquaclear 110 hob filters lights 2 200w heater etc. My question is can i get away with 50% water changes once a week. I plan on housing no more than eight discus with maybe some tetras cardinals lets say 25 or so maybe less.

You should be fine if you go with adult discus.

Yes they would be full grown adults. I only have time for 50%water change once a week was what i was worried about thanks for the repply will get back with pictures in a phew months after my move and set up.
