Oh, wow, really? Where'd you get this information? I haven't been up there in a while, but I haven't heard about any sale yet. Sounds really good, though, would be a perfect opportunity to get my 180g. :D

I think this was posted on the thread that Kenny was looking for tanks. But you can't get a 180g, only 3 tank sizes: 55, 70 and 90.

why oh why can't you get something like this in NOVA.
Been checking craigslist for fish tanks and most of the time, I see people selling their saltwater setups for ridiculous amounts.

90 gall for a buck a gallon.....sweet!

Not that I'll be at the sale- much too far away- but are they 70 gal tanks or 75 gal tanks? The only 70's they list are cubes and corner aquariums... seems like standard 75's are better for most discus keepers... or just step up to 90's...

Good for the people who can get there for the sale. I really like my 75's for discus because they're big enough for a group of 6-8 adults or near adults... I'd strongly encourage anybody considering a 55 to step up to a 75, particularly at the sale price...

I always thought 55g as a perfect growout tank. Combination of good volume for the fish, price and also easier to do big water changes. But I never had one. Was just considering one in the far future.

Called up there, and asked about it. The lady directed me to the website, which has a Flier on it that shows everything going to be on sale. Geez, it's such a debate! XD Do I take the GREAT sale, or keep my gas? The ride from where I am is about 2 1/2 hours. Ah, man.

Lots of variables, like the price of gas, how many tanks you want, and how much time you're willing to spend to save money... Looks like it'll be a madhouse, so I'd get there early, plan on making a day of it...

For Acroken (Kenny H), it's worth the trouble, because he's building a new fish room, taking friends to overcome the 3 tank limit...

It's a 2 hours drive for me as well but I have family in the area. This "was" the fish store that I used to go every saturday growing up.

I am going to a meet that is organized by MFK there as well. Make no mistake about it. It's a whole day event. Just think of it like black friday sale. It's a mad house there.
