8 discus for $200, good deal?

I just bought 8 discus from a local. They include: 1 x 3.5" yellow albino, 1 x 3.5" leopard spotted, 1 x 5.5" pearl pigeon, 1 x 4.5" red white, 1 x 5" blue turquoise, 1 x 3" white diamond, 2 x 5" blue diamond for $200. Is that a pretty good price?

It greatly depends on the quality and health of the fish. Unhealthy, stunted, disease ridden fish are not a good buy at any cost.

They are healthy. The previous owner is going away for college.

It depends on the health and the owner. But ill be very careful if I don't know the seller and if its first time buying from him.

It sounds like a great deal as the others said if they are healthy that wasn't too bad.

You wouldnt be able to get those sizes here in BC at such a low price for 8 discus...so if they are happy and healthy, its a great price IMO.

Sounds good if they are from 1 other person who had to sell for personal reasons. Probly ask before you buy next time lol.

How long has he had them? If the fish are adults, then some of them are pretty seriously stunted. It's impossible for us to tell you if it's a good deal without pictures.
