Has Anyone Used Beta Glucan in Their Recipes?

I found a great article here. I know you can get Beta Glucan at the healthfood store. My LFS adds it to her fish food and says it's fantastic. It's primarily been used in salt water fish, but why not Discus?

Its in the Ocean Nutrition Formula one marine pellets I feed here as my main pellet.

Yes, I know that it is in some prepared foods, but I was thinking of adding it to the beefheart recipe.
