I know it's a weird question but I noticed my heckels just drifting from one end of the tank to the other side last night. I just got them a few weeks ago so they are still a bit shy except when there are food around and I take a step back.
I woke up in the middle of the night and went downstair to turn the light on. All the heckels were in the front of the tank, just gliding along. I've noticed resting behavior with domestic discus. They simply stay still and some even laying a bit on the side when they "rest".
This was just a strange behavior to see that they simply glide around the front of the tank with me standing there (as if I don't exist). Come this morning, they were back to their normal behavior.
I guess I'll try to catch them on video tonight.
