Looks like a pigeon blood type on the left and a turquoise on the right.

Personally, I would prefer to cross fish that were at least similar in color or pattern, such as blue diamond to cobalt blue or leopard snakeskin to leopard.

Did you see any spawns from them.i agree i would rather breed fish that are similiar but if you like them go for it.It would be a learning expierience at the least.JMO:D

Looks like a checkerboard pigeon, and a blue turq. If you ask me, they both look like they still have some juvie coloration, and may not be mature enough to spawn. On mature fish, I would expect to see more blue color on the turq, and more color/pattern on the tails of both fish. That type of CP usually gets lighter in color the older they get, and develops black on the fins and tail also. At least in my experience.

I would not use these two as a breeding pair for any price. The fry are likely to be heavily peppered.

That would be my thought also, Martha. Peppering is potentiated in a pigeon turq cross.
