Our LFS got these in a week ago and I was wondering what kind are they. The fish are a tangarine orange color. Sorry the pics are not that good I took them with my phone.

Ya got me! They seem to have a lot of bars! If you are thinking about buying them, I wouldn't. They are stunted and very poor shape.

I agree. Some kind of stunted cross. Hard to tell from the pics, but they look almost like they have been exposed to ammonia at one time from the gill discoloration.

I'm not sure myself what variety of discus that would be as I am somewhat new to discus keeping myself...but, I do have to take pride in myself, in that when I initially saw those pictures, I was thinking to myself, "Are those stunted?" Sure enough, when I read the other replies below, I see that I was correct in my inital assumption! :D

It was also nice to learn about the after-effect of ammonia exposure...

They look like snow-white based fish to me, maybe red white or cloud leopard...they were color enhanced in the wrong way, and they are stunted...:(

No I won't buy any discus from my LFS because they always look so sick when I go in there. Was just wondering what kind they were since I have never seen any this color.

Thank You

That is bad discus, I don't even want them if the owner give me for free
