Agree, some type of pigeon blood, maybe a yellow pigeon.

Like they said pb. He looks to be atleast 6" or 7". Nice fish!

just back from the Italian International Discus Championships (caught also up in the European Vulcan-distaster):

The fish shown is very nice and comes from a Brown from the lower Xingu region, but along the way they crossed Pigeon Blood into it (which comes from a Blue Discus - but both are the same species S. haraldi). If you can try to get a similar one from the very same source.
