I was just wondering if you could add these freshwater clams in a discus tank. I wil have my temp at 84. http://liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=1075+1642&pcatid=1642 Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance

There was a question similar over in the general discussion. The short of it is, they will starve. Unless you target feed them every day, enough to make the water cloudy, they will starve. You don't want to have to add that much nitrate to your water in order to keep them alive. Go to www.wetwebmedia.com, look up "Golden Clam" and see for your self. Not a good idea.

Freshwater clams will not survive the high temps that discus need for long, if I am not mistaken...
