Hey guys, i just set up my first planted discus tank recently.. its a 30 gallon tall, with ribbon wood, some slate, and some hygro for right now.

outside of this tank, i have 16 more tanks, 6 of which ive been waiting to set up, but havent yet.

Welcome to Simply, but I have to tell you that a planted 30H is not a good discus set-up. General rule of thumb is 10 gal per adult discus. With water displacement being considered, your 30H will be closer to 20 gallons than 30, meaning a mated pair is ideal for that amount of water.
