I made my newest beef mix and have a question.

I used spirulina, collared greens and baby food peas for the first time.

My beef was extra lean 97/3 ground beef, fresh tuna, cod, shrimp, garlic, paprika, the above and some vitamins.

The mix has turned out real green.

My previous home made mix looked like a normal beef heart mix.

Is it normal for the mix to be green when using the mix I have used?

Not sure, but it sounds like its a good mix, if the fish love it, it dont matter what the color is. ;)

Well... "I used spirulina, collared greens and baby food peas for the first time." ...so yeah, it's gonna be a green.

The question is whether your discus will like it? Some don't really "go nuts" when mixes are too rich in vegetable matter. Not really a problem unless you really went overboard though.
