Southeast Discus Enthusiasts 1st meeting is set.

We've been doing a lot of talking and a lot of planning and now it is time to put it all into action. The Date, time and location of the very 1st meeting has been set. Put this on your calenders. The start of something great in the Southeast.

Sunday June 27th, 12:00 at Choppers house.

We will be cooking out hamburgers and hotdogs. Marty will share his new fish room which is under construction and we will get to see his Koi ponds. We will have a casual meeting and those of us who went to the NADA convention will share a little of the experience with you. We will also spend a little time each telling a little about ourselves and our discus.

Don't have discus, you are still welcome. There is no membership required just a desire to share and learn about our hobby. Does is get any better than this.

As we get closer to the 27th more will be posted. Feel free to email me at any time to get added to our email list and contacts list or just to say hi or ask a question about the group.

I will be able to attend the meeting on the 27th :D. I think this will be a great opportunity for a lot of the discus folk from around here (and hopefully some from further away also) to finally meet up and have fun chatting about life, the universe, and everything discus. I wasn't able to go to the NADA show, but judging from all the posts and photos on this forum, everyone who went had a blast, and I would love to hear all about it from those who went. By the way, I also agree that having the next NADA show here in the Atlanta area would be a brilliant idea :)

We are just under 2 weeks from our first meeting. There are no requirements to come and join in on the fun and fellowship. You don't even have to have discus, just a appreciation of them. We will no doubt get you hooked up with some if you come, lol. They are addictive. If interested and you aren't already on our email distribution list then shoot me a pm or email with your email address and I will add you to it. Don't let this opportunity to be in on the first meeting pass you by.

I can't swap any fry due to fear of spreading some rather tough flukes, but I might be interested in buying and growing out a couple in another tank- what strains do you have available?
