update with eggs!!

Haven't been around here much but today I turned lights on and saw a filter tube full of eggs!! Not sure when it happened since I was away yesterday and didnt really pay attention till this mornng. Heres some pics of the pair

What should i do with these? Can you move eggs? Has there ever been any success with fry in a planted tank?

well the eggs are gone tonight. Just thought it was cool since this is the first time i have ever seen them in real life. And i grew these fish from 1". I have been sort of neglecting them since im remodeling a new house. Hopefully will be moved in before next month and then i try my hand at raising fry.

hello there,
yes there are some people here on the site which have breed discus successfully in a planted tank. (forgot who it was though, sorry :o)
But anyone I approached so far told me
bare bottom +
no plant +
quite - non interrupted environment (no homeimprovement projects ;))
only the 1 couple of discus +
a breeding cone
will work wonder to control for all the bad things possibly happening between laying eggs and wigglers and fry and juvies.

but try your luck maybe you can make it work.
