Long story short I have a discus that was off its feed and displaying white stringy feces so I decided to treat with levamisole and much to my surprise it is now expelling tapeworm #3 or 4 I'm not really sure. Should I treat her again with Prazi? These fish came from a very respected breeder and a sponsor on this forum. I really didn't expect to be going through this. I am sure they are tapeworms. They look exactly like this http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?t=76417&highlight=cestodes..

No. Praziquantel is effective in treating tapeworms (cestodes). Levamisole treats nematodes.

Thanks Eddie, that's what I thought I just saw that it has killed some of the worms and wanted to make sure before treating her again with prazi.
