Good morning all.
I have a breeding pair of giant floras with approx 150 youngsters
there in my rio 300 at the moment (bit to big) but they done it.
I have 2 brand new clear seal 18x12x15 tanks would it be ok to put the
Pair in one and when the fry are ready move them to the other one for a grow on tank.
What's your views. Are the tanks to small do you think
Thanks.

The 18x12x15 tanks are only 14 gallons so no, they would not be suitable for either the parents or the fry. Is the capacity of the Rio 300 tank 300 liters? That's 79 gallons US, so that tank would be good for the fry, if it's bb. You'll be neading another tank for the parents. I recommend 110 liters or so. Congrats on the fry, by the way.

Most people will keep the pairs in 20 or 29 gallon tanks, I have bred them in tanks as big as 120 gallons before. I have seen people do it in as big as 250 gallon. I currently have a spawn going in a 75 gallon tank....so I guess the answer is anything larger then 20 gallons can work.

Good luck.
