you dont want a cheap pair. usually you get what you pay for in this type of situation. I would recomend Hans. he has pairs that are provenfor 400 bucks yes that type of money is hard to fork over but think of it as an investment and If you get a spawn and quality is good. you can pay off the pair with just 20 2-2.5 inch juvies from the first spawn:) sounds good right:)

I just picked up 3 pairs from WVDISCUS (James is a sponser here). Couldn't be happier with what he shipped me. Much nicer than what I expected and the price was very reasonable as well. Figured I test out my skills before I invest too much money. And what I got is what i would expect to pay twice as much for. Great guy and easy to work with.

I bought a pair of blue diamonds from Hans about a month ago. They are magnificent 7 inch fish. I now have about 100, 3 week old fry and another group of about 100 wigglers on the cone. They are excellent parents with almost 100 % hatch rate and attachment. In my opinion, buying a pair from Hans is worth the money and most effective in the long run. I have been raising discus for many years and trying to grow out breeders but there are plenty of variables that can go wrong. Hans is honest and does not keep the best pair for himself like most do. I highly recommend him.

I have several but you still have not said what you are looking for or a price range. If I do not have what you are looking for then Hans does. You need to remember that $400 for a good proven pair is a bargain.

I have a pair of Stendker Red Scribbled/Red Snakeskin raising fry right now for $350.
Also have a pair of Stendker Red Scribbled/Blue Snakeskin with fry as well for $350.
I don't know what you mean by cheap but these are proven pairs that spawn every 6-7 days, raising fry when I let them.
