one of my discus has a blown up stomac it looks swollen and a bit hard any ideas how to cure him

It's likely to be bloat. There are plenty of threads that discuss this at length. Here's an example (http://forum.simplydiscus.com/showthread.php?t=80487&highlight=bloat)!

Has there been a sale on cheap fish food somewhere?

First do a large wc, then add 2 tbsp of Epsom Salt per 10 gals and see if that helps during the next 24hrs. In the mean time go over threads that deal with bloat as suggested above.

Has there been a sale on cheap fish food somewhere?

yep, at petsmart iwas there last week and they had cheap food with a discus pic on front, went back this week and it was all gone:D

If the Discus on the picture was holding it's swollen belly with it's pectoral fins then there is a good chance it ate the food too.
