Hello all,
Figured I have been lurking long enough and should introduce myself. My name is Joe and I am from just outside of Detroit, MI. I have been keeping/breeding freshwater fish for pretty much my entire life and have always wanted to keep discus.
After spending alot of time on this forum reading, alot of the worry I always had in keeping discus is gone and the time has finally come for me to try my hand. I am in the process of getting some tanks cycled but when that is complete I plan on picking up 6-8 juvies to start with and go from there.
I hope to be around here a long time as this is such a great wealth of information for discus noobs like myself.
