cypress driftwood?

hi to all, i just got a great deal on cypress driftwood that i am planing to use to attach some orchids on, does anyone know is this is safe for discus? some of the pieces are very interesting.

I have cypress in my tank. no problems except I had to screw acrylic to the bottoms as after 5 months they still want to float.
