I have a total of six discuses, two of them are always together and they always attack the other fishes. they never attack each other. could they be a pair?

It could be the beggining of a pair forming. Put a spawning cone in the tank and see what happens.

Are they the same strain of discus and how big are they?

I've seen same strain discus team up against other tankmates in setting up reign in the pecking order, but not necessarily be a pair in the making. Time will tell and setting up a cone like Kacey suggests could test the waters for you :p

Measuring from nose to the end of tail (TL) is more of an indicator of age and determining if your discus may be old enough to begin spawning; unless, the particular discus in question is stunted.
