Hopefully this picture is clear enough, my macro filters are junk =(

This is the checkerboard pigeon I got from Kenny, he and the leopard are dancing and both appear to have the tubes down, they appear to look different(hard to tell, the Leopard has had a poo going for the night.. ) But they have been dancing around the filter and spending a good deal of quality time together.

Are we supposed to help identify for you? Im confused, if so i would think the checkerboard pigeon is the male and the leopard is the female. Maybe that will help you.

Yes, I am sorry, I was hoping someone would be able to tell, I have just been growing out discus(just got into them in march!) and do not yet know how to identify. I was hoping someone could point out the best way to identify the tube.

the males is very pointy and short during spawning and the females tube is wide and flat on the end.

Thanks! I will try to find a filter combination that will let me get better pictures so if I can catch them I can share them for reference!

Think it's a male or female? I should setup a time lapse to watch and catch them.
