At the lab where I work we raise different organisms to use in our tests and I was wondering if anyone thinks that discus might eat some of them. We raise 3 species of fish, saltwater Mysid shrimp, and Daphnia magna. The fish we use are all larval fish 1-14 days old, small enough to be eaten by juvies. My wife's large angels eat them. I can feed the larval fish artemia before the discus would get them as well.

Would this type of live food be good for discus and do you think they will eat them?

Lucky you.....Cultured Mysis and Daphnia great for fry and young Discus.
I would say Go For It.
