Hello
I have a 55 gallon tank with 5 blue turq. low and behold i went into the fish room and found 2 females spawning 1 on each side of the tank. each one seems to have a mate. they are not fertilizing though. they are 5 in fish not quite a year old, now they stay together as pairs and have spawned several times each. but the males seem lost. they try to care for the eggs but just eat them in a day or so. are the males not ready?? or do they just need more practice.
