I bought this lil guy about a year and a half ago, didn't really care for him at the time but he was very cheap ($25.)
He wasn't growing very fast and I thought perhaps I had a stunted fish on my hands until I read somewhere that snakeskins are known to be slow growers.
I noticed a fair amount of growth in the last few months. It took a while but he finally grew to a decent size and pattern/color.
His base color turned out to be quite interesting, it stated out as brown but now has areas that are light brown with red mixed in and near the face and lower body he has a greenish color.
