...experience with the newer models of Jager heaters with the red ring? I've had these for a couple of months, so I decided to use them. Only thing is, the red ring has 2 indicator points on it. Which one is for the set temp.? Companies are always changing stuff to confuse the old man! :D

use the red ring arrow to set the actual temp of water first. then use the blue dial to set to desired temp. let heaters sit in water 24 hours firstbefore adjusting actual temp and desired temp
