stress bars on Rose Red discus

Hey guys/gals!

I've had three 3-1/2 to 4" RR discus for approximately six months. One has very slight stress bars and the other two are much more pronounced. Is this a sign of ill health/stress or do the RR strain often have these bars no matter what?
