I am planning a low tech (few plants and no C02) 80 gallon tank with sand substrate. I just got wonderful pieces of Manzanita driftwood, which will be the main decoration of the tank. I am not sure, though, which composition would look best. Any suggestions? Any photos of your tank or of any other aquascaping arrangement that you like?

in search type the word watermelon
in another search type the word when life hands you lemons. 2 tanks I think are perfectly beautiful, one is natural, the other contemporary!

Thanks for the hints. Two wonderful tanks, indeed. However, I have the impression that vertical pieces of driftwood would look quite crowded in a 80 gallon tank that is only 20 inches high. I am attaching a photo I found somewhere in the web (sorry, lost the source), which arranges the Mazanita pieces from the bottom, in a beautiful arrangement. Are there any other examples?

Any more aquascaping ideas/examples using Manzanita driftwood? I found a setup at YouTube that looks nice:

Don't you think that if s/he had left the center and right side empty (like at 0:40) the tank would look better?

I agree, I think the tank would have looked better with her simple large feature on the left/in the golden rule area and largely empty on the right.
