Just wondering, i have heard a lot of talk about it and i would just like to know what it is?

If you are talking about mesh, it's used to place it aroud the breeding cone guarding the eggs and preventing the parents form eating them.
Many things have been used from gutterguard to chiken wire. Most often wire mesh is used, galvanized, non galvanized, or plastic coated. The important thing is that it isn't toxic and that it has holes small enough to prevent the parents from eating the eggs while being large enough to allow them to fan them.
