They are flukes. I think the dark area is 2 flukes together. I sent a discus for a complete necropsy. He said he found no flukes, I know they have them so I culled another from the same tank sent him this pic as he requested and says he can't see any! he then sent me a picture of what a fluke looks like and told me to keep looking!
