Will bigger discus eat up 1 cm discus fries?

Hi bros, just wondering if adult discus will eat up discus fries that are about 1 cm. Asking because someone just gave me a golden albino discus fry that is about 1.5 cm. Currently the 3 inch discus have a tendency to chase it around. But so far the small fellow has been too quick for them. The small fellow also does not seem too stressed up as it is still constantly pecking the food stuck on the sponge filter.

If they are not the parents of the fry yes they will try and eat them. It's always best to grow young fry out in a fry tank so you can give them the extra care they need.
